Terms of use

Glint is licensed, not sold. By installing the app or running glintd on your router, you accept these terms.

License

Glint (macOS / iOS / iPadOS apps) is single-user. The companion daemon (glintd) is MIT-licensed open source — see the source tree at github.com/Nakitel/glintd.

No warranty

Glint is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The app reads router state and lets you toggle tunnels, switch SIMs, and reboot the router — all of which can disconnect you. Don't run a Glint reboot from a remote network if you can't get to the router physically when things go wrong.

Routers we test against

Tested on GL-E5800 Mudi 7. The capability-detection layer in glintd works on any GL.iNet OpenWrt 23.05+ box without code changes; not every model is exhaustively verified. If something misbehaves on yours, email and we'll ship a fix.

APNs relay

The relay forwards your push events to Apple Push Notification service using our Apple Developer account. We're a pass-through; uptime is best-effort. If the relay's down, your app still works — push events just don't fire until it's back.
